I married way out of my league. And I am aware of that every day. Kelly loves me, even the worst of me … like the “1st thing in the morning me”; and the “I hate being stuck in traffic me”; and she even loves the “but I only want to lay on the couch and watch TV me”. She’s my daily demonstration of grace – unmerited favor!
I have three great kids – Nathan, Carissa, & Jordyn. They are the best parts of me – wow, thanks for that God, cause there weren’t a lot of good parts to work with!
I’m the associate pastor @ HOPE Church. And … I’m the teaching pastor @ Sojourn. I have the good fortune to share my life with the broken, the scallywags, and the marginalized; which works especially well because I am one of them. I love and lead a rag tag community of people who consistently demonstrate Deuteronomy 4:29 … “You will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul.”
Sojourn is a community of people who have a desire to connect with those who have never gone to church – the “unchurched” and those who have given up on church – the “overchurched”. To help those who are far from God discover they don’t have to be.
